Existing AI frameworks, such as deep learning and neural networks, have not yet reached the technical advancement needed to understand the complexity of the theory of mind. Researchers are divided on whether the theory of mind can be incorporated into AI or whether it should be mutual between humans and machines. Recent studies have shown promising results in adding the theory of mind to AI, but the debate is ongoing, and more transparency is needed in accessing these models.
